QIAN JUN Motorsport Media is a media agency founded in Shanghai, China by seven experienced members from different fields of motorsport in September 2017.
Our team is specialized in media coverage of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship and other international or domestic motorsport series via print and digital media, photography, and social media.
We also provide motorsport related public relations consulting services for series, manufacturers, teams, drivers and sponsors through on-site reporting, images, social media coverage and public relation events.
Currently, QIAN JUN Motorsport media is based in Shanghai and has overseas branches in Jakarta (Indonesia), San Francisco (California,US) and Melbourne (Australia).

Jun Qian
Founder & Content Director
At the end of 2009, Jun stepped into motorsport journalism and motorsport photography when he started his study at the Shanghai University of Sport majored in Sport Journalism.
After cutting his teeth working for official media team in various national championships, state-owned newspaper and world-famous professional motorsport media, this Shanghai-born youngster has become the best motorsport journalist in China.
He is the only FIA Formula 1 World Championship permanent photographer pass holder of mainland China since 2017 and FIA Media Working Group Member since 2018.
However, his footpath is not limited to Motorsport, and that he has reported world-class sport events like Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games, Tokyo Summer Olympics and Beijing Winter Olympics.
With a broad professional relationship both domestically and internationally, Jun is also a regular content-maker to broadcaster in parallel to his work in print media, digital media and photographic service. He has also achieved accomplishments in the field of motorsport PR.
Bobby Arifin
Co-Founder
Now 60-year-old, Bobby is a pioneer on reporting F1 in Indonesia.
With a high enthusiasm towards motorsport, he provides articles and images for "BIG 2" Indonesian newspapers including JAWAPOS and BOLA. Together with more than 150 F1 Grand Prix attendance, his business view point and personal relationships add decent amount of vital benefits to the agency.
He fell in love with F1 since the Niki Lauda days by watching on the black and white television. Since then, the lust of watching and attending the races had been immersed. So far, he has taken “World Champion Ride” driven by number of F1 World Champions including Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Mika Hakkinen and Damon Hill.
It is his ultimate dream to share a ride with all F1 World Champions at a "Racing Speed", and establish QIAN JUN Motorsport Media with Jun is a critical step on this journey, because speed and passion is in his blood.
Cheng Jin
Senior Reporter
Cheng started his career as a motorsport journalist in 2015.
At the end of 2017, Cheng has reported on multiple Formula 1 Grand Prix and other international motorsport events including Macau Grand Prix, Formula E, WEC and IndyCar.
Through years of residency in overseas, Cheng is now specialized in on-site reporting, interviewing and translation. Cheng also has extensive knowledge on junior single seaters, as well as decent understanding on broad range of motorsport around the world.
Cheng has now completed an education degree at Monash University. His experience in the field of education could assist him in educate and develop Chinese motorsport culture.
Di Bao
Journalist
Based in the Netherlands, Di started her first Formula 1 media journey in the pouring rain of the 2019 German Grand Prix. The adrenaline of capturing cars fascinated her.
Thus, she was more than thrilled to accept the opportunity to continue. Due to the pandemic, she was absent from season 2020. But she made more than up for it in season 2021 as she was the only Chinese media present. And she will carry on this journey in 2022.
In her spare time, she is a full-time engineer at an automotive company.
Irwen Haiyuan Song
Co-Founder, Chief Operations
Irwen started his Formula1 media career as a media center staff in 2005 Chinese Grand Prix as FIA press delegate assistant. Now he is the core media center staff in Formula1 Chinese Grand Prix (Shanghai) and United States Grand Prix (Austin).
Irwen is also one of the early members and Engineering Manager at Rescale, Inc. Rescale (www.rescale.com) is the global leading Cloud HPC provider in the industry based in San Francisco, California. Rescale is also the technical partner with Manor Racing Team in 2016 Formula1 season.
Irwen's passion relies in contributing to not only media but also technical side for Formula1. His dream is to use his know-how in technology and engineering to make the pinnacle of the motorsports more sustainable and exciting.
